Though many people remained cautious in spending their money. Still, the features of the iPhone 12 series couldn’t resist them from buying it. People upgraded their mobile phones.

With the popularity of the name, Apple took up Samsung in the 4th quarter of 2020. Company records double-digit sales in the last quarter.

California-based company saw its year-on-year growth of 14.9 percent whereas Samsung saw a fall of 11.9 percent of the growth in the same period of time. It enjoyed its growth, whereas Samsung fell by 14.6 percent.

Samsung also faced a tough competition with regional vendors, such as Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo.  Apple and Xiaomi were the 2 among the top 5 which experienced their growth rate.

Global smartphones sales declined 5.4 per cent in the fourth quarter of 2020 and 12.5 percent in full-year 2020.

The highest decline was for Huawei, which lost its second position to California-based company. This was the impact of banning the google app from its Mobiles.
