About Diabetes

Being a long-term lifestyle chronic disease, Diabetes causes high blood sugar. It causes a condition where the body’s ability to process glucose in the blood becomes less. Our body produces a hormone called Insulin. It takes the sugar from the blood to the cells where it produces energy. However, in this case, the body is not able to produce enough insulin. Or if it does, the body wouldn’t be able to use it effectively. Therefore, it increases the sugar level in the blood.

Diabetes is treated with few available medications. It is done either by taking the drug in the mouth or by having insulin injections. The most famous treatment, dialysis is also available. But due to the very costly, painful, and long duration process, it is not preferable. For type 1 diabetes, Insulin is the treatment. It replaces the hormone your body isn’t able to produce. Diet and exercise can help some people manage type 2 diabetes. In the case of pregnancy, one needs to monitor the sugar level in the blood several times. Eating the right type of foods can both control your blood sugar and help you lose any excess weight. But all of them are really long duration processes.

However, a team of doctors from Osmania General Hospital has found a spiritual way for the treatment of diabetes. That is the part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata, the teachings of Lord Krishna, and the holy book of Hinduism, The Bhagavad Gita. The Gita is a narrative framework of a dialogue between prince Arjuna and his guide Krishna, an Avatar of the god Vishnu. The researchers say that communication could be used to get out of the illness as they include the shlokas which talk about the various situations of life. They said that” The Gita points out the negative situation and goes on to showcase positive coping skills suggested by Lord Krishna”. The researchers strongly recommended the utilization of the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.

One should definitely try this spiritual method so as to get effective results and better lifestyle.
