Just hours ago, an urgent piece of information showed up. In the course of this lockdown, a lot of folks were requesting for the board exams rescheduling or revokement. Subsequently, Mr. Anurag Tripathi (board secretary) gives his confirmation statement in this regard. Also, CBSE will soon release the exam scheme.
Apart from that, he didn’t mention the format in which exams will be held. In addition, he also left a question mark on if the exams will occur in February-March or not.
Earlier, CBSE delayed the board exams in accordance with lockdown protocol and ultimately terminated. They drafted a different marking scheme. Later, CBSE announced the results based on it.
Mr. Tripathi cited the above in an online seminar on“New Education Policy (NEP): Brighter future of school education”. ASSOCHAM was the organizer of this seminar.
Recently, we all witnessed the release of the New Education Policy (NEP). Indeed, this policy will bring about a difference in the education system. On the top, its objective is to boost skills and encourage switching to competency-based education.
In like manner, Mr. Tripathi said;
We need to move students away from knowledge-based education to competency and skill-based learning. To implement skill-based, competency-based education there is a need to transform and follow an entire pedagogy-based teaching-learning process, be it classroom teaching, face-to-face teaching, or online teaching.
