COVID-19 strengthens its hold on the world. 

After a year, the pandemic has started hiring economies with its second wave.

Contrary to the actions of the virus, citizens globally seem unbothered.

Google Doodle’s Message!

Masks are still Important. Wear a mask and save lives.

Therefore, Google Doodle took the initiative to spread the message. 

The message to follow the COVID protocols. The protocols to wear a mask, wash hands, and, maintain distance.

Although these protocols seem quite easy, they aren’t. 

Humans have lived for years in ways celebrating proximity and relations. Suddenly, a change in lifestyle affects basic human needs. 

However, these are essential to follow. Ignoring the situation is not the solution. 

 Globally, people started celebrating the farewell of the virus. Unfortunately, the virus wants to stay here. 

Moreover, the countries that have witnessed the second wave have seen increased death toll.

If this is not taken seriously, it might escalate the fatalities. Moreover, the governments will have to take stricter actions. 

Lockdown! A financial death to Economies

The most known is the lockdown. The lockdown will not be an effect socially. Instead, it will be a financial death for economies. 

The economies are already suffering the impact of the first wave. 

The time stopped by and the huge tide of COVID blew away the wealth. Before it could heal, there is another tide hitting economies.

Indeed, it becomes important to take precautions at a personal level.

Also, the loss of lives of loved ones is a heavier loss than the financial loss.

It is the right time to make the right choice.

India has started to witness its second wave. Additionally, the death toll is higher than before. 

Surely, it has worsened the state of many.

India’s Second Wave

With more than 90,000 cases in a day, India ranks third affected by the COVID. Following the highest number of cases after the United States and Brazil. India's cases are again escalating with the second wave.

Prime Minister, Narendra Modi held a meeting to evaluate vaccine drive and prepare for next.

He informed the public through his official tweet about the meeting. He even asserte the five steps to contain COVID-19.

Maharashtra has the most number of cases in India. Subsequently, lockdown and curfew have been applied by the Maharastra government.

 The government has urged to strictly follow the protocols. Moreover, the police have now taken strict actions. 

The public even showed awareness. Furthermore, more than 1,00,000 reports were filed for violating the protocols. 

Additionally, more than 24,000 people were arrested. 

Now or never!

Undoubtedly, the situation is worrisome globally. A platform like Google has made a significant initiative to share the message.  Importantly, the isolation has risen various other health issues.

Now, it is the responsibility of the beings to shield their surroundings from the effect of the virus. 

This loss from COVID will be impossible to calculate. It is high time to fight the battle without illusions and misinformation.
