Sugandha and Sanket Bhosale charged for allegedly violating Covid-19 norms

On Wednesday night the case for illegally violating the covid-19 guidelines has been filed against comedians Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosale.

The very renowned comedian Sugandha Mishra gained her recognization in the tv industry. Through the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2008 married her longtime boyfriend Dr. Sanket Bhosla, a comedian. They married in a private ceremony at Phagwara’s Club Cabana in Punjab. Also, their wedding ceremonies held for 2 days, 25-26 April.

The case registered against the bride, groom their families, procession, and the owner of the resort after their wedding videos viraled. As in the videos, a large gathering of people can be seen. Hence, they charged with violating the covid-19 norms.

The case registered Under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.As pertaining to disobedience to order duly promulgated by public servant and relevant sections of the Disaster Management Act. As the Punjab police have only allowed 10 participants in a marriage. But in the videos larger gatherings were seen -Phagwara Sadar station house officer (SHO) Raghbir Singh said.

Currently, the investigation is going on, but no arrest has been made yet.

Earlier Sugandha and Sanket both used to work together in “The Kapil Sharma Show’. Recently, Sugandha hosted the reality TV show broadcasted at Star Plus named ‘Taare Zameen Par’.
