PM Modi unveils the statue of Netaji on his birth Anniversary
PM Narendra Modi unveiled a hologram statue of freedom fighter Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose at India Gate in New Delhi. The unveiling ceremony marked the occasion of Netaji’s 125th birth anniversary.
PM Narendra Modi addressed the ceremony and, the Union Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah was in attendance.
PM Modi, in his speech, mentioned the occasion and the location to be great. Netaji refused to give up before the Britishers. Thus, his statue will inspire democratic values in the generations to come.
Furthermore, Union Minister Amit Shah added that the statue is a befitting tribute to the legendary Bose.
The Central Government also announced that the Republic Day Celebrations in India would begin from 23rd January every year. It will incorporate the birth anniversary of our beloved Netaji.
PM Modi also conferred the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskars for four consecutive years from 2019. During the unveiling ceremony, a total of seven awards were given.
The Central Government honored and felicitated the individuals and the organizations for their contribution in the fields of National Disaster.
Also, the winners got cash prizes. For the institutions, it was 51 lakh and for the individuals 5 lakh rupees.
A brief about the Hologram Statue:
The Hologram Statue of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, powered by 30,000 lumens 4K Projector. Netaji’s 3D image is projected on the invisible holographic screen. Notably, the size of the Hologram Statue is 28 feet in height and 6 feet in width.
