The major districts that fall by the Purvanchal Expressway Corridor are Lucknow, Sultanpur, Amethi, Ayodha, Azamgarh, Mau, Barabanki, and Ghazipur.
According to the Government, the Expressway Corridor will boost the economic development of Eastern parts of UP.

The expressway will also have CNG stations, electric recharge stations, and other facilities.
