Rahul Gandhi hosted breakfast meet; cycle protest with opposition leaders.

On Tuesday Congress leader Rahul Gandhi organized a breakfast with opposition party leaders. After the meeting he rides, a bicycle to the parliament as a protest against increasing fuel prices especially petrol with other opposition leaders.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hosted breakfast meeting with other opposition leaders. The main motive behind the meeting is to unite all the opposition party leaders. And also making a strategy on few issues that needed to be addressed in the remaining monsoon sessions of parliament.

The main issues include stated monitoring through Pegasus spyware. Dealing with the pandemic, rise in fuel prices, also farmers protest.

A few weeks ago,  Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also did a tractor ride against the new farmer’s law. This time also Mr Rahul Gandhi ride bicycle to the Parliament with other opposition party leaders as a protest against rising fuel prices. As petrol prices are increasing every day.

Me Gandhi said in breakfast meeting that, “ to draw the attention of the government on the issue of rising fuel prices one way is cycling to Parliament. People are struggling”.

There were 100 members of parliament from the Congress Party. Furthermore, the opposition party NCP’s Supriya Sule, Trinamool Congress’s Mahua Moitra, and the DMK’s Kanimozhi. These were amongst the opposition party leaders who attended the meeting.

Around the same time, BJP parliamentary party meeting was also held. In this meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi said against that “ opposition party is hindering the smooth functioning of parliament. This is a disrespect to democracy and the public.”

Few hours after the bicycle ride to the parliament. Mr Rahul Gandhi tweeted in Hindi that “our faces and names are not important.  Most Important is that we represent the people. Every face stands for the Crore faces of people suffering from rising prices”.
