Underwater City: Dwarka
In the legend, it is mentioned that the city that was built by Lord Krishna got submerged into the sea. To know more about that excavation was conducted a few years ago. In the excavation, it was discovered that architectural remains were found under the sea.
According to Hindu myth, Lord Krishna was sitting under the tree in the forest and meditating. By mistake, he got shot by an arrow and Lord Krishna left for heaven. Furthermore, after his death, there was a flood that came in the City. Then the whole city got submerged into the ocean.
Dwarka: Swarg Dwar and Moksh Dwar
As mentioned above the city Dwarka is also known as Mokshpuri where you attend Moksh or salvation. So for the same, in the Dwarkadish Temple, there are two Gates (dwar). The Swarg dwar is known as the gate to heaven. The Moksh dwar is known as the gate to liberation.
People who visit the temple take 56 steps to enter Swarg dwar and get an exit through Moksh dwar.
Incomplete Eyes of Lord Krishna Idol
If you carefully observe the eyes of Lord Krishna Idol Then you will find that the eyes are not completely made. The story behind this is that. In the 15th century, there was a situation of War everywhere. So the priests hide the idol enough well-named Savitri to protect it.
Lord Krishna came into the dream of a Brahmin. He ordered him to take out the idol after a particular time so that it gets completed. But then that Brahmin took out the idol before the specified time. And that is the reason Lord Krishna’s Idol has incomplete Eyes.
One of the Char Dhams
Dwarka is one Dham or pilgrimage place among the 4 sacred Hindu pilgrimage places. The flag at the top of the temple has the symbol of moon and sun which represents Lord Krishna. It signifies that as long as the moon and sun will be there Lord Krishna is there.

The Dwarkadish Temple is one of the greatest examples of best-designed architecture. The Vastu Shastra of the temple is set in such a way that it creates positive energy in the whole area it covers.
It is also said that the architecture and Vastu Shastra of the sanctum sanctorum. Also, the Mandapa of the temple is built keeping vastu in mind because of which people who go there get hypnotized.
