June 21: Upcoming Smartphones to launch in India: Price, Features, and more

As the second quarter of 2021 goes on, we could see several exciting upcoming smartphones launch in India. In May, there were not many smartphones launched, due to the partial and complete lockdown in several parts of the country. However, companies are now gearing up to launch some of the very interesting smartphones. In this article, let’s list out some of the upcoming smartphones to launch in June:

Poco M3 Pro 5G

Globally unveiled in May earlier this year, we’re expecting this budget-oriented, 5G smartphone to launch this month. Poco M3 Pro 5G will boast a unique design, with a left-oriented camera array, similar to Samsung Galaxy S21.

It features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. Further, for optics, Poco M3 Pro 5G will sports a 48MP (f/1.79) main camera + 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensor. All of this will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery capacity with the support of 18W fast charging.

Price: Around Rs 15,000

OnePlus Nord CE 5G

OnePlus Nord CE 5G

This has to be one of the most-awaited and exciting smartphones on the list. OnePlus has officially confirmed the launch of the OnePlus Nord CE 5G on June 10. As per the early leaks, the smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G processor. You can watch the live event on June 10, 7 pm IST.

Also, as compared to OnePlus Nord, it will be priced lower than Rs 24,999. OnePlus Nord CE 5G will feature a 6.43-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. So, it is going to be quite compact. As for the battery, we could expect it to come with a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast charging.

Price: Expected to be below Rs 25,000

Asus 8Z and Asus 8Z Flip

Launched globally as Asus Zenfone 8 and 8 Flip, these devices will launch in India as Asus 8Z and 9Z Flip respectively. The specs are expected to be almost the same as the global variants. So, Asus 8Z will be a smaller device with a 5.9-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

On the other hand, Asus 8Z Flip will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is a bummer considering it will be a flagship-grade smartphone.

It should have gone with at least an AMOLED or 120Hz refresh rate. As for the cameras, both the smartphones will have a 64MP main sensor along with 12MP + 8MP ultra-wide and telephoto lens respectively.

Price: May be around Rs 40,000

Realme Narzo 30 4G / 5G

Realme’s Narzo series targeted for the millennials with trendsetting design and performance.

Realme might launch smartphones, one with 4G and another rebranded version of Realme 6 5G. Coming to the specs, Realme Narzo 30 will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a90Hz refresh rate. It powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 octa-core processor. 

The main camera in Realme Narzo 30 will be a 48MP sensor along with a 2MP B&W lens and macro respectively. On the other hand, Realme Narzo 30 5G powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. It will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The company is expected to provide a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

Price: Rs 15,000
