Yet another blast took place in Kabul today. This blast occurred in a densely populated residential neighbourhood near Kabul International Airport. The US launched an air attack the other day, killing two ISIS-K members. However, this attack by the US is said to be a retaliation attack. This attack took place to take revenge for the attack done on 26th August. However, the attack on August 26th killed approximately 180 people and injured a large number of others.
According to accounts, this strike occurred just hours after US President Joe Biden indicated that there is a strong likelihood of another terror attack in Kabul. US military leaders have provided intelligence inputs. Perhaps the attack is the result of a rocket hitting the residential house. The major explanation, on the other hand, is yet unknown.
