GODDESS ANNAPURNA DEVI TO BE BACK TO IT’s PLACE

A historical idol of Goddess Annapurna Devi was smuggled in another country around one hundred years in the past. It had to retrieve from Canada to start its adventure for Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, wherein it was initially located. The idol has smuggled out to Canada over a hundred years before. And it has been a part of the University of Regina’s collection in its MacKenzie Art Gallery.

The statue reached Delhi on October 15.

The idol of Goddess Annapurna has retrieved from Ottawa, Canada has received thru the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). And has taken to Varanasi, union tradition minister G Kishan Reddy stated on Tuesday.

The union minister for culture and tourism G. Kishan Reddy stated that he’ll offer more information on the adventure of Goddess Annapurna Devi’s idol on Wednesday throughout a media briefing at Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s official residence in Lucknow. Last November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced that the idol has delivered back.

Out of the fifty-five antiquities, forty-two had been lower back after 2014 with the Annapurna Devi being the one and only idol remaining to this, stated the ministry.

The idol of Goddess Annapurna Devi idol can be first taken to Aligarh on November 11th then Kannauj. And it will attain Ayodhya on November 14th. It will complete its journey in Varanasi on November 15. Which it’ll be located at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple after the ideal rituals.

“The ministry of culture is operating carefully with the ministry of external affairs. To repatriate the antiques which maintain historical past value and have local importance.
