WWDC 2021 – Everything You Can expect from the Apple Developer Conference Event
Apple’s annual WWDC 2021 event will kick start on Monday, June 7. The virtual live event will take place from Apple Park in Cupertino, California, United States. Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, will address the live event, which will include the launch of iOS 15, iPadOS 15, macOS 12, and a lot more.
Let’s discuss all the things that you can expect from Apple’s long-awaited developer conference event below:
Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is Apple’s biggest annual event that generally includes announcements related to its new software update for various Apple devices. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tech giant is organizing the live event virtually from its Apple Park.
WWDC 2021 – Everything You Can Expect from the Event
iOS 15: New Software for iPhone
The Cupertino-based tech giant is expected to unveil a new OS version, iOS 15, for the Apple iPhone. Though the company will announce iOS 15 for iPhone, it will only roll out sometime in September later this year.
As per the leaks, the iOS 15 will boast a few major changes in UI and privacy protection. We could see a revamped notification slider and iMessages may also get some exciting features.
Apple is likely to bring a few major improvements in the App Tracking Transparency feature, which will give users more control over their data.
iPadOS: New Software for iPad
Apple is expected to make a couple of major changes in the iPad software as well.
The company will add a new feature where users can put widgets anywhere on their screens. Further, we might also see some new upgrades on the software side for Apple’s M1 chip.
Software Upgrades for watchOS, macOS, and tvOS
Unfortunately, there have been not too many leaks for the watchOS and tvOS; we might see some major upgrades on the software front.
We can expect a slew of new features for the Apple Watch devices. So, for now, nothing much is known about new features for tvOS.
Although Apply generally doesn’t launch any hardware products at their WWDC event, we might expect new models of MacBook Pro in this one. These models may come in 14-inch and 16-inch display sizes. A recent report reinforces this claim and said that the tech giant might have a “few surprises” in the event for its users.
So, all in all, Apple will be announcing a lot of new software upgrades and features in its 5-day long virtual event. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube and the company’s Twitter page at 10.30 pm IST.
