Akamai faced indignation took half of the world’s business down

Akamai is a renowned Content Delivery Network (CDN) and cloud services provider that specializes in media and software delivery. Lately, for a limited period, Akamai faced indignation bringing down bundles of important websites as well as apps. India, UK, Canada and many other countries faced this indignation.

However, because Akamai is a Content Delivery Network, many websites have had this problem. “Akamai is experiencing a service disruption,” the company added in a tweet. We’re looking into it right now and will have an update in 30 minutes.”

Nonetheless, the problem did not linger long, and most of the websites were able to resume normal operations. However, many, if not all, websites rely heavily on cloud-based services and CDNs to host their content. Furthermore, this type of problem arises when the cloud service provider has a technical problem. As a result, Akamai, as well as its clients, are dealing with the issue.

Finally, the problems were resolved, and most of the websites were operational again.
